Green Tara is the feminine embodiment of enlightenment and a manifestation of the Buddha-nature that exists in all of us. Her female form represents wisdom, and she is called the Mother of all Buddhas.

Tara comes swiftly to the aid of all those in need. She is the liberator from karmic obstacles and fear. Her right hand, extended in the giving mudra, bestows the common and uncommon siddhis, or accomplishments. Her left hand is held in the gesture of fearlessness to bestow protection.

The mantra of Green Tara is "Om tare tuttare ture svaha".

Solid Statue

This is a great image of Green Tara to use on any shrine. It is a very good size and affordable. The bronze finish makes it easy to style it on any type of altar. I highly recommend this statue for use in Green Tara (or any meditative) practice!

I am more than happy with this delightful depiction of Green Tara. The statue was thoughtfully and gracefully designed. Tara inspires my practice, which, after all, is the point!

Great Quality and More Affordable Than Brass

While Brass statues are my thing, they also cost and arm and a leg. I finally decided to look for a statue because Green Tara is what let me to Tibetan Buddhism and is very important aspect of the Mother.

While not brass, this statue is a HIGH QUALITY piece. Its well coated, has great detail, and much easier to pay this amount that, $450+ for a bronze/brass the same size.

My guru will be blessing it in a week or so.

The item was well packed too. I would recommend this product.
