Beautiful but not that Durable

I have had this statue in my garden for a long time, probably at least 10 years, and I love it. However, I question the "remarkably durable" description. My statue is now burnt dark brown to black, I guess from the sun. It has a rough feeling, porous looking surface and many cracks. For the price, one would have hoped for true durability.
